As you read every word of this article you begin to realize that the medical community, along with the major pharmaceutical companies would be in the position to lose an awful lot of revenue if we would just stand up for ourselves and tell them that we are tired of being pumped full of their deadly drugs and sliced open whenever they attempt to ‘cure us’.
You will probably become as outraged as I was when I learned that over ninety five percent of all woman with an who are treated with conventional methods…need to have ovarian cyst surgery. You know, we have come so far in modern medicine, they offer us…the ‘wait and see’ treatment, the ‘throw some medication your way’ option or the ‘jab it with a needle to drain it’ method. Then, after spending time and money on what the doctor would lead you to believe ‘needed to be done’…they tell you that you require surgery. But…do you really? Is that your only option to treat ovarian cyst symptoms?
Absolutely not!

Are you a menopausal women who has recently been diagnosed with an ovarian cyst? You’re not alone, know that women of all ages have experienced the pain and discomfort of ovarian cysts. While they are most common in women of childbearing years, ovarian cysts after menopause can occur.
Learn here, exactly what ovarian cysts are and what you can do to treat them if you are post menopausal woman who was recently diagnosed with a cyst on you ovary.
Understanding What Ovarian Cysts Are
A functional ovarian cyst, the most common type, is a fluid-filled sac that develops in a woman’s ovaries. During the process of ovulation, the follicle that contains the egg does not open as it should and results in a cyst. Most cysts are harmless but they can be extremely painful.
An ovarian cyst, regardless of when or why it occurs, can cause a lot of pain and it’s this pain that generally lead women to see their doctor. You may experience lower abdominal and back pain located on one side of the body. It may be a very sharp and sudden pain that comes and goes. Another symptom is that there is often a feeling of pressure or fullness and can cause changes in bladder activity and constipation.
If the cyst ruptures, the symptoms become more acute. Cysts can go away over time, with the right treatment and by making small but impacting changes in your lifestyle. If you are under a doctor’s care, however, they may want to remove the cyst from your ovary if it continues to grow in size.
How To Treat Ovarian Cysts After Menopause
Ovarian cysts after menopause should be evaluated by your doctor. This is done by a sonogram that gives the doctor a clear picture of the size and shape of the cyst and helps your doctor determine the best course of treatment.
A blood test can evaluate it for cancer cells, as this is the biggest concern for post-menopausal women. The fluctuation in hormones actually helps the cyst resolve itself, but after menopause, this does not occur. Doctors will usually treat a cyst with hormones or surgery to eliminate pain and the potential risk of cancer.
Ovarian cysts after menopause carry a slight increase in the risk of ovarian cancer but most are benign. A sonogram and a C-125 blood test can help your doctor determine your risk. If all signs are good, and there is no pain, most of the time doctors will simply monitor the cyst.
Alternative Treatment Methods For Your Ovarian Cyst
This is the perfect time to begin a regimen of natural remedies that have been very successful for many women in eliminating cysts after menopause and preventing new ones from forming.
Dietary changes are usually the first course of action. Research has begun to show an association between a diet high in meat and cheese and ovarian cysts, namely saturated fats.
Switching to a diet that is high in fruits and vegetables, or a vegan diet, can help the cyst dissolve. Adding garlic, whole grains and minimizing or eliminating sugar and white flower can help bring the body back into balance and give it an opportunity to heal itself.
Natural herbs are also being used to treat ovarian cysts after menopause. Black Cohosh and Red Clover both have an impact on the hormones and help restore them to their natural balance. Milk Thistle and Dandelion have cleansing properties that can rid your body of unwanted toxins.
A vitamin supplement added to the diet can be helpful as well. A multivitamin with minerals should be taken by any woman over the age of 50 for optimum health. Vitamin C will boost your immune system that will in turn help your body heal itself and help you avoid the development of future cysts. Zinc, B-complex vitamins, and antioxidants all have beneficial properties to treat ovarian cysts after menopause.
Ovarian cysts after menopause are no longer a result of the normal female cycle and should therefore be checked by a gynecologist and monitored. But while they are being monitored using natural methods of treatment are your best line of defense and often result in a total cure without the need for surgery.

For years my daughter suffered from painful periods with symptoms such as bloating, water retention, upset stomach and very tetchy moods. Her periods were irregular and she found it very embarrassing on the odd occasion that she was caught out by the appearance of her period. After a recent visit to her doctor she was diagnosed with a cyst on both of her ovaries and came home with a prescription for some medication that was supposed to shrink the cysts and assist with pain relief. After reading some of the possible side effects she decided not to take the medicine and began some intensive research into a natural cure for ovarian cysts that would work with her body.
No one knows the real reason for ovarian cysts but they are thought to be caused by a hormonal imbalance. The trouble with conventional treatments are that they only work as a temporary relief from any current symptoms and do not work at preventing the formation of cysts. Natural remedies, on the other hand, work with the body and get to the root of the problem by naturally correcting hormonal balances within the body and flushing out any toxics that may be doing some harm.
My daughter found that many women recommended making changes to their diets including lots of vegetables and vegetable juice, no red meat but plenty of chicken and fish, and lots of water with some lemon juice and a hint of baking soda and absolutely no fast food, pizzas, soda or coffee. But what excited her most was the discovery of a beets and molasses drink that can be made at home and which a lot of women say they are having success with as a cure for ovarian cysts. Anyway she tried the drink and the veggie diet and when we last chatted she said she was on the second day of her period without having to take a single painkiller, no bloating and no upset stomach. Also she was only having mild cramps such as one would expect, and was drinking herbal teas for comfort and pain relief.
The beet and molasses drink is easy to make. All you need to do is in a bowl mash one or two slices of either fresh or canned beets with a fork, then pour about a tablespoon of aloe vera on top of that, finally add about a tablespoon of molasses on to that. This can then be eaten as is, or if you prefer, it can be put into a blender and drunk from a small shot glass. For best results the drink needs to be taken first thing in the morning before eating. As with any natural cure, do not expect results over night but take the drink regularly for at least a couple of months and, if you have the same experience as my daughter, you should start feeling a whole lot better in a relatively short period of time.
This is just one little known secret cure for ovarian cysts but there are many other natural remedies that are easy for a woman to do at home and it really does seem to be a case of try it and see. What works for some women may not work for others, but the key is getting to the root of the problem and working from within your body to get a result that works for you.
You no longer have to live with the pain, bloated stomach and feeling of nausea that are all symptoms of an ovarian cyst. Instead you can learn the remedies you can implement yourself to successfully shrink the cyst and prevent it from ever coming back simply by visiting

To identify a cure for ovarian cysts that suits you best, it is important to first understand what cysts are.
Ovarian cysts are fluid-filled sacs that develop on the ovaries, a female’s egg-producing reproductive organs.
No woman is immune to such cysts which may occur at any age. However, women normally develop cysts during their menstrual cycle when their ovaries prepare eggs for release into the fallopian tubes. While many ovarian cysts are not harmful, some can be malignant and pose a serious health danger.
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a condition in which many small cysts form in the ovaries. This can affect a woman’s ability to get pregnant.
Symptoms for ovarian cysts
The type of ovarian cyst you have will determine your symptoms. However, some cysts occur without causing any apparent symptoms.
Here are the most common indicators associated with ovarian cysts:
Back aches and pain in the upper legs
Tenderness in the breasts
Irregular menstrual cycles
Nausea and/or vomiting
Painful sex
Abdominal pain or pressure
Bladder and/or rectum pain and/or pressure
Difficulty urinating
Weight gain.
These symptoms are reasonably generic and can also indicate other conditions such as endometriosis, ectopic pregnancy or pelvic inflammatory disease. That’s why you should see a doctor for a definitive diagnosis of ovarian cysts.
In other instances when the presence of ovarian cysts can be particularly harmful to your health, symptoms can include:
Dizziness or light-headedness
Fatigue
Fever
Severe abdominal pain
Shortness of breath and/or rapid breathing
Vomiting
The discomfort associated with ovarian cysts can be emotional as well as physical.
Women have three primary options available to rid their bodies of ovarian cysts.
Surgery. A laparoscopic procedure known as “ovarian drilling” is done through a small abdominal incision. The physician uses a laser fiber to puncture an ovary a number of times. This treatment, which results in a dramatic reduction in certain hormones, is often performed to alleviate polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Unfortunately, surgery will only remove cysts currently on an ovary. It is It ot a long-term solution.
Medications. Birth control pills may be helpful to regulate the menstrual cycle and prevent the formation of follicles that can turn into cysts. And such pills can possibly reduce the size of existing cysts.
Holistic methods. These natural methods focusing on diet, exercise and lifestyle choices, work consistently and very effectively for many women. They can be started immediately to provide relief from pain and discomfort and to prevent future cyst formation.
To alleviate pelvic pain and general discomfort caused by cysts you can
Take over-the-counter pain relievers such as Tylenol and anti-inflammatories such as ibuprofen which is found in Advil.
Increase your water and fiber intake by drinking at least eight glasses of water a day and eating an appropriate amount of high fiber foods.
Drink herbal teas that help your body process and filter out toxins.
As you’d expect, your diet is a major factor in any holistic treatment. The amounts and kinds of foods you eat will positively or negatively affect your day-to-day life and your general wellbeing.
You can follow a specific diet plan of your choice. But your key endeavor should be to start immediately by cutting out foods high in saturated fats and eating plenty of fiber rich foods.

I am probably one of the most skeptical people you will ever ‘meet’…so, immediately that nagging little voice inside my head said…”yea, right…if it is so wonderful, why did my doctor not tell me about this option to get rid of the ovarian cyst symptoms?” But, it really peaked my curiosity now…that is for sure.
Can you recall what a cyst free existence feels like? I felt myself drifting back in time, remembering the times when I was given the diagnosis…what my options were. Natural was NOT mentioned…at all! I surely would have loved to try something that promised to reverse and eliminate my ovary pain.
Anyway, I decided that I just had to see if this book was for real…my friends daughter has been suffering from recurring cyst on ovaries for years…and has had several surgeries. You know, that is one way that modern medicine likes to ‘cure you’…it is either that option of treatment, or they write you a prescription for dangerous drugs, that can cause more problems than a cyst will ever cause. A heating pad, put on the ‘low’ setting will also relieve some of the pain and discomfort associated with an ovarian cyst.

Chamomile tea…try it…it already is proven to help with many different health problems, as well as help you to relax so that you can sleep. SO…
If you do not want to continue down the ‘beaten path of conventional medicine’…you owe it to yourself to explore other possible remedies. Why would you choose anything other than a natural ovarian cysts treatment? You, and you alone are the only person responsible for decisions regarding your health…be smart!
So, your doctor wants to treat your with medication and/or surgery…is that what YOU want? I hate to admit it, but I blindly followed my gynecologist’s advice…and after all of it…the cysts returned! Don’t make the same mistakes I made…try a natural remedy for ovarian cysts…first!

A natural treatment for ovarian cysts will focus on the root cause of the cysts and not only relieve the existing pain and dissolve the cysts you have now, but it will prevent the recurring ovarian cysts as well. How can that be? Traditional medicine says there is no way to prevent ovarian cysts.
Traditional medicine only addresses the symptoms of ovarian cysts. Hormone therapy and surgery only mask the real problem. No traditional medicine therapy treats the cause of cysts.
Think about it for a moment. Cysts that become problematic occur when there is a hiccup in the ovulation process. Either the sac fails to release the egg and continues to fill with fluid, or it does release the egg but then seals itself and continues to fill the fluid rather than just dissolving. Other cysts form when cells develop where they shouldn’t. Endometriomas and cystadenomas are examples of this type of cyst. Then things can get even worse with the development of polycystic cysts or groups of cysts. This condition is often referred to as Polycystic Ovary Syndrome or POC.
A natural treatment approach views the development of these cysts as a warning from the body that something is wrong. Just treating the symptoms does not correct what is wrong with the body.
Why do these aberrations in the ovulation process occur? Answering that question is the primary focus of a natural treatment for ovarian cysts. When the root cause is identified it can be addressed thereby ending any further aberrations.
So what all is involved in a natural treatment? First of all there is immediate relief from the pain using natural methods to reduce inflammation and relax the muscles. This is obviously done without drugs.
Secondly, the root cause of ovarian cysts will vary from woman to woman. Natural treatments make recommendations to alter diet, manage stress more effectively and encourages aerobic exercises. It may mean a simple change for you or it may be a more extensive change in lifestyle that is called for.
Regardless, you can follow a natural treatment knowing that you are in the process of ending ovarian cysts from your life forever. That beats the heck out of another ultrasound doesn’t it.
Did you know you can eliminate cysts entirely using natural methods within two menstrual cycles? No more cysts ever! I have to admit I was skeptical until I found out how. You can learn the “how” for yourself by visiting and start taking charge of your body right now.

When a woman is pregnant she wants nothing more than to have a trouble free nine months and so having to deal with ovarian cysts during pregnancy can be a very worrying experience especially since her treatment options are significantly reduced due to her condition.
Her doctor can perform an ultrasound to look at the size and shape of the cyst to determine what action can be taken. If the cyst appears to be filled with fluid, there is every chance that it will go away of its own accord and is most likely not cancerous but there is still the possibility that in the meantime the cyst may cause her considerable pain, which is not good for either herself or the baby. Some doctors will consider surgery around 14 to 16 weeks into a pregnancy but most women don’t want to endure surgery because of putting stress on their baby or in case any complications arise. The best course of action in these cases is to opt for natural cures that are available for ovarian cysts during pregnancy.
Reducing pressure on the bladder and increasing the amount of fibre in the diet are two very good ways to get started. Excess pressure on the lower abdomen is painful enough on its own, especially during pregnancy, but when accompanied by a cyst is can be almost unbearable and leave you feeling wrung out and downright miserable. Try drinking a cup of herbal tea, such as camomile or mint, which will not only relax the mind and body, but will help filter out toxins in the body. Increase the amount of fibre in the diet as well as this will help prevent constipation, which puts added pressure on the abdomen. Good sources of fibre rich foods are beans and pulses, fresh fruit and vegetables (preferably with skin left on), bran flakes, brown rice and whole grain bread. It is also important to drink plenty of water each day to help flush out the system and keep things moving.
The key to dealing with ovarian cysts during pregnancy is not to get stressed out. If you implement a few dietary and lifestyle changes, you will find yourself pain free in no time at all.
So many women are led to believe that medication and surgery are their only options, but trust me when I say that natural treatments can be very effective with dealing with ovarian cysts during pregnancy.
